The 2008 MURALHAS DE MONCAO is a blend of Trajadura and Alvarinho from this
co-op in Vinho Verde. Very crisp, with a significant burst of acidity, this
is powerful and acidity-dominated, rather light even with the alcohol
clocking in at 12% (which is not exceptional, but not low for the region). I
did question the balance here at times. It takes a while for the fruit to
emerge from beneath the haze of acidity and lemon-lime notes, but there is
